EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR REGEN-D 150

It is a topical gel containing recombinant human epidermal growth factor (rhEGF) which is produced using recombinant DNA technology.

Epidermal growth factor is the growth factor that plays an important role in cell regeneration and proliferation.

The gel is clear, colorless and can easily penetrate epidermis thanks to its low molecular weight.

INDICATIONS OF EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR REGEN-D 150

Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a small protein that is involved in the mechanism of normal cell growth and is involved in the healing process. The primary structure of the recombinant factor is a single polypeptide chain of 53 amino acids.

Since Regen-D 150 promotes cell proliferation and stimulates all necessary processes such as cell formation, migration, differentiation, and complete epithelization, it is used to cure all sorts of skin damage including:

Wounds
First-degree burns and second-degree burns
Bedsores, vascular and chronic leg ulcer
Foot ulcers that often develop on the feet because of diabetes. In 95% of such cases Regen-D 150 successfully cures lower limb ulcers and completely prevents amputation
erythema after laser skin resurfacing and other cosmetic procedures such as, for example, chemical peels
erythema, edema and crusting after photodynamic skin therapy using 5-ALA
mild to moderate acne vulgaris
Regen-D 150 is known to be used during the skin transplant procedure.

APPLICATION

Before use, thoroughly clean the ulcer surface from pus and dead cells.

Rinse the cleaned surface with saline solution or soapy water at least 2-3 times and dry the wound.

Do not use products that are stronger than saline, such as Povidone 10%, an antimicrobial agent Furacilin, Chlorhexidine 2%, Hydrogen peroxide, a solution of bleach and boric acid, Dettol. Apply a thin layer of Regen-D 150 gel on the entire wound surface.

In case of lesions of the peripheral vessels of the lower extremities, the wound must be treated with low molecular weight heparin, and after that with Regen-D 150.

The dosage of Regen-D 150 gel depends on the size of the damaged surface. In any case, consultation with a doctor is necessary.

The course of treatment depends on the problem and the duration of therapy is determined by the attending physician.

SIDE EFFECTS OF EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR REGEN-D 150

The gel is well tolerated. There are no clinical data on the occurrence of side effects.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
History or suspicion of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer
History of cancer
Radiotherapy or chemotherapy
Liver and kidney failure
Active tuberculosis
Hypersensitivity to the main ingredient and the other substances of the gel composition
Immunosuppressive therapy
Immunostimulating therapy
Pregnancy and lactation
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Regen-D is compatible with other medicines.

Do not use it simultaneously with other growth factors.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

The patient must use their individual tube of Regen-D 150 and remember to wash the affected area with soap or saline before applying the gel.

Since Regen-D 150 can cause rapid growth of early skin cancers and make it difficult to control such cancers, you should be examined to verify that there are no signs of skin cancer before administration.

Regen-D 150 may facilitate the progression of squamous cell carcinomas (a type of cancer) that can develop on chronic ulcers.

As for use in children, there are no clinical data on the safety and efficacy of Regen-D 150 in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Regen-D does not affect the ability to drive vehicles or other potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Volume & Packaging: 15 g (0.5 oz.) tube

Active ingredient: 1 g of Regen-D gel contains 15o mcg of recombinant human Epidermal Growth Factor.

Storage & Conditions: advisable to store at cool temperatures (2–8 °C) to guarantee the constant quality of the product over a long period. However, the product is stable at room temperature for a period of 12 months. Do not store above 25°C.

Close cap properly after every use. Keep out of rich of children. DO NOT FREEZE.
